Tutorials: Basic Configuration
To configure basic settings, start the control panel in Start -> Programs -> FolderMill -> Control Panel.
Starting the control panel for the first time will automatically open the basic configuration dialog which can be used to edit the application's basic settings: directory scanning frequency, conversion timeout, path for files that cannot be converted, log file name and properties, service startup mode (manual or automatic), and interface language.
Also, when the control panel is first started and once basic configuration is complete, the edit dialog for the conversion rule template created during the install process will be opened automatically.
