Convert to Image Action
- Ability to preserve CMYK color space when converting PDF to TIFF/JPEG, thus making files suitable for professional printing workflows (with the help of GhostScript)
Using Email as a Source
- New Enhanced filtering option that handles emails with greater precision. It applies FolderMill’s built-in email filters (such as To:, From:, Subject:, etc.), instead of relying only on the mail server’s filters which may fail to work in some scenarios. Works for IMAP protocol only
- New error handling option if FTP or Email become inaccessible (Hot Folder's Advanced settings → Error handler) allowing to stop Hot Folder processing (Stop rule)
- Fixed a bug with IMAP protocol: previously, attachments sometimes weren't properly detected
Improved Send to Email Action
- Added new option to set BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) to send to multiple recipients while keeping addresses private — useful for mass email sending and compliance. You can enter multiple email addresses, separated by comma
New features for Print document Action
- Print placeholder instead of attachment by file mask: It is now possible to choose which types of file attachments that match a specific file mask must be replaced by a placeholder; for example, enter
*.xml
to replace all attached files of that type with a custom placeholder - Wait until printer queue is empty: Resumes printing only when the printer queue is empty — for more reliable printer settings recovery
- Consider missing print page range as error: Set FolderMill to not flag an incorrect (non-existent) or missing page range as an error
- Consider missing attachments to print as error: Optionally flag or ignore the absence of file attachments as an error (if Print attachments: Print only attachments is selected)
- New ability to export Hot Folder settings as Flat rule file (*.flat-rule) allows editing "rule" files manually — empowering advanced users and developers
Improved adding of cover pages
- New Cover Page Designer with real-time preview panel and refined functionality. This is a built-in editor for creating custom cover page files (*.cover) with ability to place your own text, images, barcodes, or rectangles. Now features a preview panel for convenience during editing
- New cover page templates (Print document Action → Advanced settings → Service pages):
- Blank — allowing you to easily separate output printed documents without wasting paper
- Filename with FolderMill logo (previous version) — a legacy cover page template for those who like to use the previous version's template
- Cover - filename, total pages, Cover - filename, total sheets — add a simple cover page with the total number of document's pages or sheets

Improvements and fixes
- Added new interval units (hours, days) besides seconds for Rescan period on the Control Panel interface with for optimized Source monitoring

- Backup of data (saving Hot Folders and their settings) is now performed every time during any re-installation of FolderMill, regardless of the program's version
- Ability to move or insert Actions anywhere in the Action Set — cut/copy/paste Actions anywhere in the Set using left or right mouse button for convenience (previously this was only possible via deleting Actions and appending them to the end of the Action Set)
- Resolved issues with P7M format handling where signatures caused artifacts on the output PDF
- Improved Filter by color Action: New setting Every page in document has to match the filter criteria, avoiding false positives on single-page files. This prevents an issue when even one-page files always met the conditions which wasn't correct
- Convert to PDF Action: PDF standards (Regular, PDF/A, Password-Protected) are now more easily accessible; it is now on the Action's common settings window
- Convert to PDF Action: New setting to Remove unused objects (enabled by default) allowing to keep or discard some unnecessary objects; by default, it optimizes files by discarding unnecessary elements
- Upload to FTP Action: Fixed an error when handling subfolders in FTP
- Upload to HTTP Action: Added ability to use macros, such as {SrcFileName} (source file name)
